No, it's not an official holiday and, since its arrival on the holiday shopping scene back in 2010, it's actually amassed to a BIG movement. Have to love the irony there.
As you may already know, Against The Grain's main mission is to motivate, advise and service small businesses, farmers and artisans of Berks County, Lehigh County and even a bit beyond. This is why I felt it was appropriate to announce Against The Grain's Small Business Lottery leading up to the unofficial Small Business holiday.
It's simple:
- Inquire about Against The Grain's services any time before Small Business Saturday 2015 (November 28).
- Ponder, wait for the right moment.
- Sign a legal agreement (no minimum amount required) to work with Against The Grain before Small Business Saturday 2016 (November 26).
So, while you have to contact Against The Grain before Small Business Saturday 2015 (November 28), you have 365 days until you pull the trigger on that whole money/contract business. Any type of inquiry will do. You can find a few ways to reach out here.
I can only say at this time that it will be a cash prize (maybe some other goodies, too) but who doesn't love cash?
